Our Story
In 2005, Andrew Brown founded Global Languages as a student organization at The George Washington University to engage the community, share his passion for languages with others and address the growing need for accessible, affordable language education. What began with Andrew teaching seven languages to a handful of students quickly grew and expanded beyond the boundaries of the University.
The success of Andrew’s student organization led to the establishment of The Global Language Network (GLN) as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization in August 2008.
