Give to GLN
GLN fulfills a language learning need and supports our community by engaging and training native speakers as world language teachers and leaders, offering quality language learning opportunities at an affordable cost via our deposit system, connecting and empowering people through language and culture.
Giving to GLN is an investment. Individual gifts make up 25% of our annual budget, and play a key role in the number and variety of classes GLN can offer in upcoming semesters. By giving as little as $25 or as much as $1,500, you will help us achieve our big plans for 2012 – expand the number of classes offered, revamp our website and registration system, and provide additional training and professional development opportunities for our wonderful teachers. Check out our ambitious Strategic Plan to learn more about GLN’s goals.
GLN is almost entirely volunteer-run! We keep our costs low so your contribution can be invested directly toward enhancing our program. Please consider investing in GLN:
Sponsor a Class: For $1,500, you can sponsor a class in your favorite language – perhaps Chinese, Quechua, or Spanish? The $1,500 contribution will cover the entire classroom space costs for one semester and you will be recognized for sponsoring that class. (Could you or someone you know give us room(s) after 5pm on week nights? Please contact us at Info@TheGLN.org and let us know!)
Teacher Services: For $75 you can help defray the cost of one teacher training session for our volunteer teachers.
In Kind Donations: These can include anything from office supplies and language resources and materials to classroom space! Contact us at Info@thegln.org for more information.
Purchase one of GLN’s Café Press Items and a portion of the proceeds will go towards supporting GLN.
Check out our 2011 Annual Report to see what we have achieved thanks to the unending support of our community
