GLN warmly welcomes anyone who wishes to volunteer with our organization. It is our belief that we can only grow as an organization by engaging passionate and committed individuals who support our mission.

Volunteers fall in one of three different categories based on their roles, responsibilities and time commitment:

“Officers” – GLN officers are volunteers who have an official title (VPs or Directors) with specific duties and responsibilities, commit to at least a six month volunteer term with GLN and agree to contribute 20 – 25 hours per month to GLN.

“Associates” – GLN associates are volunteers who work on discrete projects or serve on GLN committees, commit for the duration of the project or the scope of the committee (typically, anywhere between four and six months), and contribute 10 – 20 hours per month to GLN.

“Free Agents” – GLN free agents are volunteers who are involved with different projects at different times and help out where and when they can without a clearly defined role or commitment.

Currently, we have several opportunities to get involved in a leadership role with GLN:

Director of Information Technology – propose creative solutions to support GLN”s ambitious Information Technology goals
Director of Marketing & Branding - lead our Marketing & Branding efforts and goals
