Responsibilities:

Complete all assigned work to the best of your ability.
Conduct yourself in an appropriate and ethical manner at all times.
Respond to all GLN-related correspondence in a timely manner and follow through on commitments
Attend and actively participate in GLN meetings and events.
Represent The Global Language Network in the community.
Assignments:
We have a wide range of volunteering opportunities. We are always looking for talented and dedicated individuals in the below areas and more!
Teacher Support and Development – research and prepare language resources and materials, and provide support to our teachers inside and outside the classroom
Program Evaluation - observe classes, conduct interviews, focus groups and case studies, analyze survey results to bolster our program development efforts and initiatives
Marketing, Communications & Social Media – help with graphic design, video and production and photography; contribute to the GLN blog, e-newsletter and website and overall, engage GLNers in creative ways
Fund Development – provide support to our Individual Giving program, implement online fundraising campaigns, help research and prospect potential major donors and overall, lend a hand in diversifying and increasing our revenue stream
Outreach – help forge partnerships with community organizations to bolster our efforts, obtain more classroom space and greater visibility within DC
Events – plan happy hours, get-togethers and other fun activities to engage our entire community
