Antone is originally from Silver Spring, MD and has traveled in North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia as a student, tourist, and spouse of a diplomat. He has experience working in the non-profit and government sectors as a grant writer and consultant and most recently served as a grants program officer for the U.S. embassy in Antananarivo, Madagascar. Antone received his Master’s degree in Global Environmental Policy from American University and a Bachelor’s degree in English and Political Science from the University of Vermont. He enjoys learning about culture and language and speaks French and a bit of Spanish and Malagasy. Antone is excited to join the GLN team and to help students and teachers get the most out of their language learning experience.
