Gabriel was born in Ecuador. He is an International Relations (IR) alumnus of Universidad San Francisco de Quito. He worked at the Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of his country. Moreover, he got a scholarship at FLACSO Ecuador where he pursued a Masters in IR.
In 2018, searching for a challenging international experience, Gabriel moved to Washington, DC. He has recently gotten an ESL proficiency certificate along with a diploma in International Affairs at EF International Language Center.
He has a passion for languages and cultures from all over the world. Thus, he is fluent in Spanish and English, though he can also speak French and Portuguese. As a GLN leadership fellow, he is looking forward to sharing his own culture and knowledge while developing new professional skills.
