Word-of-the-Week Wednesday–Ligo!

Happy Wednesday, folks! I hope you’re enjoying the week so far and looking forward to a relaxing weekend!

Today’s word of the week will come in handy if you’re planning on going to Greece (or even a Greek restaurant!) at some point in the future: λιγο (ligo). It means “a little,” as in, “Καταλαβαινω ελληνικα λιγο” (Katalaveno ellinika ligo–I understand a little Greek).

Do you understand a little Greek? Or maybe even a lot?

(Is there a word in a foreign language that you just love? That you can’t get enough of, could say over and over, or you just like its meaning? Share it with us in a comment or email!)
