Aimma Farooqui

Aimma grew up speaking Urdu at home and developed a strong connection with her home country, culture and identity. She is honored and eager to share the beauty of Pakistani culture and of Urdu, a graceful and vivid language. Urdu is spoken in Pakistan by the native population as well as by the Pakistani diaspora around the world, like the one in the US that she herself is a part of. As a person who loves languages and recognizes the importance of both their usage and preservation, she hopes to help others develop in their own language learning journey, and wants to learn more from students, their experiences and backgrounds.
