Studying a new language offers obvious and unpredictable opportunities in life that can help you in a personal, professional, or charitable capacity. I’m excited to help adults learn English, and I appreciate being able to teach ESL to support GLN’s mission of erasing cultural barriers to promote tolerance in life. I have a bachelor’s in communications and certification in TEFL. I’m currently learning Spanish and have received many amusing tips regarding the best way to learn the language. These suggestions include tricking my brain to think in Spanish instead of English and only dating Spanish speakers. For you, what has been the best way to improve your fluency in a new language?
