Blaine Johnson

Blaine learned Mandarin in school, on a Critical Language Scholarship, and  through over 3 years of study and work in the People’s Republic of China. Since moving from Shanghai to DC, she has been delighted to find a community of language enthusiasts in GLN and inspired by her German, Mandarin, and Cantonese GLN teachers. Blaine’s experience teaching with the Rassias Method informs her application of the GLN approach in her classes.
