Daria Semchenkova

I was born in Russia and speak 3 languages: Russian, English and Hebrew. I came to the US 4 years ago to get my Master’s degree in Education from UMD, and after I graduated have been working as a Hebrew teacher at a Jewish afterschool in Chevy Chase, MD. I often go to different language meetups in DC area and this Spring ’17 semester joining the GLN community. I enjoy teaching languages because I can share my culture and part of my heritage with others. Teaching at GLN attracted me with its spirit of sharing, exchanging and communicating knowledge on a voluntary basis – and this is the way it should be!
