Hannah Block

I have been teaching ESL at DC area high schools since 2010. I value the relationships I’ve built with young immigrants from many backgrounds. My goal is always to help people learn about, adapt to, understand, and enjoy American history and culture, and to feel confident speaking English. I speak Spanish and Portuguese (and I’ve taken GLN classes in other languages too), so I have lots of experience with the joys and frustrations of learning. I’m excited to work with adults and to share all of our cultures and expertise together!
