Karen Reyes

I am originally from the Dominican Republic and moved to the US when I was in elementary school. I remember how hard it was initially not being able to communicate with my classmates. That has inspired me to want to share my language and culture with others! I take pride in where I come from and love the fact that the Spanish language can vary greatly depending on what country and even which region within a country you are in. I love to travel and experience other cultures! I myself am looking into ways of sharpening my beginner Italian and learning either French or Portuguese. I am looking forward to not only sharing my language and culture with my students but also learning from all of them!
