I live in Turkey. I also work as a journalist. Teaching my own language, Turkish, and sharing my culture with people is something that gives me incredible pleasure. Also, by teaching my own language, I get to introduce my own culture to people around the world as well as have the wonderful opportunity to get to know new people and new cultures. In this way, I am both the teacher and the learner. While I teach my lessons I also want to give much more because everyone here is a volunteer and that it is a privilege, so I believe it is my duty to do my best. To meet a new person is to be a partner in a new story, and to find a role in their story is the very best thing, something special. I know that life is always full of new things waiting to be discovered.
