Miko Oishi

Konichiwa! I am a native Japanese speaker and currently live in the NOVA and working for an IP firm in DC. I really enjoy teaching Japanese language and culture to others. I have previously taught Federal employees to prepare them for diplomatic missions in Japanese government agencies, taught Japanese grade school students who reside in the US to achieve proficiency standards in the Japanese educational curriculums. Also I have done technical Japanese to English translation for patent applications and litigations. I enjoy traveling extensively and love animals! I’m really looking forward to meeting people and getting involved while sharing my passion for language learning and culture.
