Originally from Argentina, Sofia Guglielmone is currently a senior undergraduate student at Florida State University, where she will graduate in December with a B.S. in International Affairs and Political Science. Before moving to the U.S., she lived in Argentina, Ecuador and Mexico which allowed her to experience various cultures as a local. She has also had the chance to travel to a total of 21 South American and European countries and become proficient in 4 languages. She finds the importance of languages best described in a famous quote by Charlemagne that reads: “to have a second language is to possess a second soul.”
