The Uzbek language is one of the world’s 50 mostly spoken languages in over 6,500 languages in the globe. It is spoken in Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Turkmenistan, Russia, China as well as among growing Uzbek diasporas overseas. Mr. Zabikhulla is a linguist and a social scientist. His research interests include lifelong education, creative writing skills as well as social studies in Central Asia. He studied international affairs at Columbia University as an Edmund S. Muskie fellow, and English and Russian at the Uzbek State World Languages University (Honors Diploma). He will be happy to have new fans and friends of the Uzbek language.
