Working for an international organization has given me the privilege to know people from various cultures, and I fully appreciate the value of language in cross-culture communication. I love learning new languages myself, and the most interesting experience I have is when I volunteered at a coffee farm in Costa Rica with zero Spanish. Coming all the way from Xi’an, China, the starting point of the Silk Road, I am excited to share my language learning experience, Chinese language and culture with the amazing community at GLN.
