Developing Teacher Training Resources for the World Bank

We have an exciting update for our Global Language Network community! On Friday, October 10th we had a unique opportunity to develop education guides/manuals and teacher training manuals for the foreign language teaching program at the World Bank. This means that the thousands of professionals passing through the World Bank language programs will benefit from the materials we developed for the World Bank Foreign Language Department! Additionally, we collaborated with them to make teacher training videos and we hope to have those ready soon. We would like to express a special thanks to the Director of the World Bank Foreign Language Department, Iouri Bairatchnyi, in addition to Rebiha “Farida” Hacene-Djaballah from the Language and Culture Program – (HRSLO) who helped us make it possible to develop these resources.
