Media Monday–Утомлённые солнцем!
Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! Since it’s Media Monday, we’re going to kick off this week with another trailer. The wonderful movie that you’ll be getting a preview of is called Burnt By the Sun, or in Russian, the language of the movie, Утомлённые солнцем.
Here’s a quick synopsis of the film, thanks to Nadia, one of our teachers! “A family’s weekend at their country cottage ends tragically when a family friend comes to call. No one is safe under Stalin…ever.” It won an Academy Award in 1994 for Best Foreign Language Film…so check it out!
