Media Monday!

Welcome to the last week of March, my dear GLNers! (Crazy, right? I’m still recovering from the holidays…)

Anyway, since today is Monday, we have some music for you! Although I’m not Swedish at all, I’m happy to share with you Du Gamla, Du Fria…also known as Sweden’s national anthem! Lincoln, our trusted Swedish teacher, told me this is his favorite song in Swedish, so that means it must be good. The title translates to “Thou Ancient, Thou Free”…seems pretty epic, right? Have a listen, and see if you can follow along with the lyrics in Swedish!

Also, this has little to do with Sweden’s national anthem, but tomorrow night is our March Happy Hour! Come to Bossa (2463 18th St NW) from 6-8 to meet some GLNers and spice up your Tuesday evening!
