Jennifer Nuth – Intern

Jenny was born and raised just outside of Washington DC in Maryland. She attended Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, where she double majored in Political Science and History. After completing her degree programs at Marymount University and interning for a small non-profit organization in the Washington DC area, Jenny went on to pursue her MA in Conflict Resolution at the University of Essex in Colchester, England. It was there where she had the privileged of having the majority of her peers and professors come from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds. It was also there where her passion for traveling was ignited, and when she wasn’t studying, she was traveling throughout Europe and Northern Africa.

Jenny is excited to have returned to the Washington DC area and started working with GLN in order to help assist communities and bridge the gaps in society that form due to miscommunication and language barriers. She knows from her time abroad and at home how language can become a barrier in so many ways. Therefore, she strives to fulfill the mission of GLN – to use language as a tool to help fix our world.
