Lora Vonderhaar is a graduate student at Georgetown University, studying Terrorism and Sub-State Violence through the Security Studies Program. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Lora earned majors in both International Studies and Spanish from the University of Dayton. During her time there, Lora studied Spanish and Arabic, and wrote a thesis examining the effectiveness of the United States military presence in the Middle East as a tool for combatting terrorism.
In her free time, Lora enjoys playing the piano and the marimba, reading, and baking. She is looking forward to this opportunity to support the GLN and its mission to build peace through communication and understanding.
