Paul is a rising senior at Endicott College where he is majoring in International Studies and minoring in Spanish. His interest in language learning started in middle school after taking French, which exposed him to new music and movies. This class experience empowered Paul to pursue a career related to language and international studies. On campus, Paul is the president of Endicott Radio, a member of the Model United Nations team, and a part of the Political Action Club. In recent years, Paul has worked in several educational settings taking on different roles. One memorable role for Paul was as a camp organizer for his Costa Rican study abroad trip. This experience allowed Paul to teach English and see how language learning can be a tool for cultural understanding. Paul is conversational in Spanish and hopes to be fluent within two years. He also plans to complete his life goal of being fluent in four languages by 2040. Paul is excited by the opportunity to join GLN as a Leadership Fellow and have the ability to work alongside others passionate about language.
