Try The World Through Language: New Medleys Offered at Global Language Network

GLN’s New Language Medley Program is an innovative series of introductory courses allowing the ability to try new languages and to learn about GLN’s educational program & approach. Designed to be taken in a series, the medleys allow you to experience many different languages in one convenient format. See the website for more information.

Are you interested in the languages of the world? If you are thinking about starting a new language or if you would like to introduce yourself to people from around the globe, language medleys may be the perfect new option at Global Language Network for you. How better to choose an area of linguistic study than to start with GLN?

What is a Medley? A composition made up of a series of short pieces; a combination of different experiences. You have heard of medleys for music but have you thought about a medley of languages. Like music, language is an interplay of sounds that bring people together and transport us to new places and new experiences.

Centered on important themes, language medleys are affordable, fun and flexible, allowing you to gain helpful skills while having fun and interacting with different GLN teachers. Medleys comprise languages that are relevant for a specific interest or professional field. This spring, join GLN for medleys on Silk Road, European Languages and Foreign Policy.

Silk Road Medley: Chinese- Mandarin, Kazakh, Turkish, Bengali, Hindi

Euro Medley: French, Spanish, Portuguese, Greek, Armenian, German

Foreign Policy Medley: Russian, Chinese- Mandarin, Portuguese, Farsi, Amharic (Ethiopian)

Busy on a certain day? No need to worry, attend only the sessions that interest you.

All classes in the Language Medley Program will be two hour per week introductory lessons in sets of 5 lessons for just $100 to enroll in one medley. Opt for 2 medleys and save $50, conveniently priced at $150. Buy the entire series of 15 classes and all three medleys for $200.

    Hi,
I love the idea of language medleys! I would love to take a peek at many languages in one semester! I was wondering if thIs is something you would offer another time of the year too? Or is this just a Summer offer?
I teach Spanish at GLN and I am already taking another class. But if you would offer it next semester I would take it then.
Thank you in advance for your response,
    Edith
