Word-of-the-Week Wednesday–amanecer!

Good Morning All!

Given D.C. weather of late, today’s word describes my favorite part of the day this summer:  amanecer [a-maneh-sir] means dawn in Spanish.  Be careful with the spelling and pronunciation though, because amancer [AH-mah-sir] signifies moonrise.

So, rise and shine to enjoy the (hot) day!
