GLN classes meet in various locations in the Washington, DC-metro area. We collaborate with organizations who espouse diversity and multiculturalism and support our mission by hosting our classes. This is how we increase our reach and expand our services to meet the high demand for what GLN has to offer.

We work with a variety of organizations: universities, NGOs, embassies, other nonprofits, hotels, and businesses. Should you be interested in collaborating with GLN (or know anyone who might be) whether it is about hosting a class, co-sponsoring an event or anything else, please feel free to contact us at Info@TheGLN.org

GLN is always seeking partner organizations who are able to offer classroom space or conference rooms to support our expansion efforts. Here are the details:

  • Summer 2016 Semester: June 6 – July 24
  • Days and time: Weeknights after 5:30 pm and/or Weekends between 10 am – 6 pm
  • Duration: Our Summer semester meets once a week for two hours each for six weeks.
  • Room size: must seat at least 15 people, ideally up to 25
  • Room amenities: chairs, tables and a whiteboard/flip chart
  • Example: One room on Mondays, 5:30 – 9:30 pm would allow us to host two classes in the summer that meet on Mondays, one from 5:30 – 7:30 pm and another from 7:30 – 9:30 pm.

We welcome both large and small partner organizations. So, for an example of a large partner, the ideal scenario is arranging one room each evening Monday through Thursday from 5:30 to 9:30pm for 12 weeks. This arrangement would allow GLN to host 8 classes per semester.

We are also excited to partner with smaller organizations that may be able to offer only one or two spaces on weekday evenings. In addition to enriching our cultural community, this still has a significant impact on our class offerings.
