Bonjour! My name is Émilie, I’m from Ottawa (the capital of Canada), and my mother tongue is French. During my free time, the language nerd in me loves finding new books, TV shows and music in my target languages. In terms of education, I hold a Master of Education in Societies, Cultures and Languages from the University of Ottawa.

I strive to be a global citizen, and I am excited to participate in GLN’s mission to use language as a tool to help fix our world. Whether you are looking to connect with people from different backgrounds or to become more independent in a new country, language-learning is always rewarding. And thanks to technology, it’s even easier: we can connect from the comfort of our own homes.
