Gulsum Kusmez

I am from a small city in western Turkey. I have lived in Izmir, Ankara, Istanbul, Qatar and I moved to Washington, DC in 2017. I studied Translation and Interpretation in college and I am currently working as a freelance translator and interpreter in the DMV region. I love learning new languages and cultures and meeting people from all over the world. Washington, DC is a great place for both! I am excited to start teaching Turkish to people who are interested in my country and culture.
