Johana Piñeros Hernandez

Hi, my name is Leydy Johana Piñeros Hernandez. I was born in Bogota, Colombia and attended The Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. I presently live in Washington DC. A fun fact about me is that I am a coffee and wine taster! My favorite word in Spanish is “petrichor,” which is the earthy scent produced when rain falls on dry soil. The word is derived from Ancient Greek. I’m excited to teach with GLN because I look forward to teaching an ability to another person, as that is the best way to give.
