I was born in Cochabamba, Bolivia, and my first languages are Quechua and Spanish. I graduated from Catholic University Teachers School with my BA in Secondary School Teaching in the languages English, French and Quechua in 1972 in Cochabamba, Bolivia. I received my Post-Graduate Degree in Educational Psychology in 1976 in La Paz, Bolivia. In the US, I received my Collegiate professional License endorsed teaching English Spanish-Pre K-12. I retired from teaching Spanish in Arlington Public Schools in 2021.

I am a grandmother of three grandchildren. I like to take care of my garden and feed birds that come every day. I am passionate about presenting workshops on culture and folklore, ancestral rites and rituals related to nature and Mother Earth. GLN offers us the opportunity to teach and learn many languages of the world, in this way it is like a bridge that facilitates interaction and intercultural exchange. Teaching Quechua my native language I will be able to defend, preserve and disseminate the cultural patterns of this wonderful language. My favorite word in Quechua is TINKUNA KAMA, which means see you again -see you later- until we met again.
