I am from Veracruz, Mexico. After doing a semester interning for Congressman Raul Grijalva in DC, I decided to apply for a Masters in Security Policy Studies at George Washington University. I interned at different organizations in DC like the Embassy of Mexico, CSIS, CHCI, and USCRI. After graduation, I went back to my hometown to work at the Veracruz Judiciary Council as an administrative officer.

I started learning English at the age of 4 years old and discovered my love for learning languages. I can speak French, Italian, Portuguese and German. One day, I wish to learn Chinese and Arabic.

I recently moved back to the DC area and started volunteering at The GLN in Fall 2018.
