Karla Perez

Hello, my name is Karla. I am from Mexico City and attended Universidad del Valle de Mexico. I currently live in Washington, DC. I was born in Mexico City but grew up in Queretaro, 2 hours away from the city. I also moved to the north of the country so sometimes I have a mixed accent when speaking Spanish. I am looking forward to meeting new people and showing them my culture. My favorite word in Spanish is CHALE. It’s more like an expression – the feeling that you can use for almost every situation. For example, A: I spilled coffee over my homework B: “chale,” that’s too bad.
