Leónidas Monterroso Najera

Hola, my name is Leónidas Monterroso Najera. I was born in Cobán, Alta Verapaz, Guatemala and studied at the Universidad San Carlos de Guatemala in Cobán. I currently live in Washington, DC. In November 2022, my son was born, and throughout 2023, I dedicated my time to caring for him. I also moved to the USA, marking a period of significant changes and joys in my life. Sharing and teaching Spanish will be a rewarding experience, and I believe the techniques I use will help me in learning other languages. My favorite word in Spanish is “Pilas.” It can mean batteries, but in various contexts, it also conveys quick and efficient action or proactive behavior.
