A native of Los Angeles, CA, Elissa is excited to continue her support of The GLN’s mission again after interning in 2013-2014. She studied International Security and Conflict Resolution at San Diego State University as well as Spanish at Universidad Antonio de Nebrija in Madrid, Spain. Elissa taught English in Seoul, South Korea.
Elissa is currently working on her fluency in Spanish. She also reads Korean Hangul and speaks French. Elissa is eager to encounter new languages and cultures at The GLN because she loves to travel and to learn about different cultures.
