Celebrate ‘Courage on Canvas’ with Italians in DC

To celebrate the final night of its “Courage on Canvas” exhibition, Pepco’s Edison Place Gallery is hosting an Italian wine and hors d’oeuvres night this Friday. The cultural group Italians in DC is behind the reception, and they’ve invited the entire international community of the city to come celebrate with them.

The exhibition showcases the 70 of the best artworks created over the 16 years of the “Life Pieces to Masterpieces” program, which highlights art created by African-American boys and young men in Washington, D.C. Many of the paintings will be available for purchase or lease at the show.

Check out the exhibit, the food and three different Italian wines from 6:30 to 8:30 PM on Friday Nov. 8. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased here, and proceeds go to the “Life Pieces to Masterpieces” program.
